Honeycomb Ceramic is porosity ceramic with parallel holes shaped as triangle, square or hexagon. The honeycomb units are separated by thin wall and they are used in the industry extensively. Currently the materials for products are mainly,Cordierite (2MgO.2Al2O3.5SiO2),Aluminum Titanate(Al2TiO5), Mullite (3Al2O3.2SiO2),Corundum(α-Al2O3) and compound phases, etc.
Compared with general ceramics, the materials have characteristics as: low thermal expansion, high heat impact resistance, anti-oxidation, large specific surface area and corrosion-resistance,etc.This product is mainly used in metallurgy,tower packing in chemical industry, construction, heat-regenerative and high-temperature air purification, industrial waste gas treatment, NOx purified system in firepower plant, purified system for harmful gas rising from rubbish burning,and poisonous gaspurification in chemical and mining industries, acting as filter and catalyst carrier used in foundry process. |

| I.Thermal Store Honeycomb Ceramic |

Honeycomb ceramic thermal storage , also called high temperature air conflagration (HTAC) of thermal storage, is the key components of high temperature air conflagration technology of thermal storage style . This product has many advantages , such as high temperature resistance; Erosion resistance; good stability of shock resistance ;high intensity ;large quantity of thermal storage ;good capability of conducting heat ;good effect of saving power ;long life-span ect . It is widely used in heating stoves of metallurgy mechanism industry ,step advanced heating stove ,heat treatment furnace,smithing furnace ,melting stove ,steel bundle/ middle bundle roaster ,balance heating stove,radiancy pipe combustion ware, cover style furnace ,Blast furnace sirocco furnace ,various kinds of ceramic kiln and glass kiln used in construction material industry ;various kinds of split- uncoiling stove. |

| III.Honeycomb Catalyst Substrate |
Honeycomb ceramic is used as a carrier in a Three Way Catalytic Converter for automobile industry with its special large surface area. The product can load enough noble metal and other catalytic reactive components, making the Carbon Monoxide(CO), Hydrocarbons(HC),Nitrogen Oxides (NOX)in car exhaust emitted after purifying. Meanwhile, the wall-flowing type of filter with porosity and thin wall is able to filter particulates in the diesel exhaust gas (about500℃). |
